As a major player in the women's lingerie market in France and Belgium, with over 200 retail stores, Rougegorge Lingerie has been developing and distributing refined and high-quality products for over 20 years.

To achieve its goals of strong growth, Rougegorge aims to offer its customers an ever-expanding and up-to-date range of products. In this context, optimizing the processes of the entire supply chain, especially the efficient management of increasingly numerous and diverse procurement flows, becomes crucial.

A lack of real-time visibility over procurement flows

"With so many emails exchanged and modifications made to our Excel spreadsheets, it was challenging to have a clear view of the actual progress of the procurement flows. It took us a lot of time to manually enter the up-to-date information provided by our suppliers into the ERP system, and it affected our ability to effectively anticipate potential delays and delivery uncertainties. We were lacking a collaborative and user-friendly tracking solution" explains Aude Van Cauwenberge, Procurement Manager.

With such a fragmented and manual organization, the supply chain directly impacted the company's ability to optimize post-delivery sales organization in the warehouse.

One of the key challenges for Rougegorge in this project was to involve supply chain service providers more in the daily operations, relieving the procurement and import teams from tedious tracking tasks and ensuring fresher and more up-to-date information.

Given the high number of suppliers and their significant diversity (both in terms of geography and product volumes for the brand), the usability of the solution was crucial.

With Winddle, suppliers and quality service providers now have a shared view of the schedule for each delivery, starting from the creation of an order in Rougegorge's ERP system. Alerts and reporting are automated based on specific schedules for each flow (incoterms, countries of origin, etc.) defined in advance by Rougegorge within the solution.

The Procurement, Quality, and Import teams also have real-time access to all key information for their operations, including dates, documents, and progress. "This allows us to be much more responsive than before in identifying and managing potential delays and issues (scheduling, change of transportation, etc.). Even among ourselves, there's no need to bother each other to find out if a particular order will be delivered on time or if the OK Greenlight has been given. I now have the visibility I was lacking to take a broader view and optimize our procurement timelines and costs effectively," says Emilie Durack, Procurement Manager.

In a context of evolving offerings and strong business growth, Rougegorge's supply chain is regularly evolving with new suppliers or product ranges. Thanks to the flexibility of Winddle, Rougegorge can easily adapt its environment to ensure it is always suited to current business processes. It only takes a few minutes for the Rougegorge project manager to modify a standard schedule based on a new import context, for example.
