The brand's strong position in specific product ranges, such as slippers and umbrellas, implies a wide variety of customers (from supermarket chains to independent retailers and department stores), and therefore a certain complexity in managing supply flows.

To these historical characteristics have been added, in recent years, sustained business growth (over 20% on orders in the last three years) and the launch of new product ranges, which have generated significant challenges in terms of supply chain management.Isotoner presents a particularity to be taken into account: its relationship with suppliers can take two forms, either by interacting directly with the Isotoner office in the Paris region, or through the sourcing office in Hong Kong.

However, in the absence of a dedicated supplier portal, and with this organization involving exchanges between France and Asia, one thing was clear: Isotoner's Purchasing & Supply teams were spending a great deal of time on data entry, creating reports and managing e-mail communications to monitor supplier flows on a daily basis. This management, although detailed, represented a significant workload, with potential risks of lost information and inaccuracies.
