Winddle is deploying its solutions within the Eram Group to optimize end-to-end product tracking
The French family-owned fashion group has partnered with Winddle, a collaborative Supply Chain Management platform, to support its procurement and transportation teams and partners on the challenges of real-time collaboration and end-to-end visibility.
As a reference in the fashion sector in France, the Eram Group encompasses nine accessible fashion brands in the clothing, footwear, and accessories domains, with a total turnover of one billion euros. In a context where industry players must reinvent themselves, the Eram Group, characterized by its family spirit and entrepreneurial mindset, has chosen innovation to support its procurement and logistics activities. The selection of Winddle, a collaborative platform for production and transportation flow monitoring, is part of a constant renewal of business practices.
The Winddle solution will simplify and structure the daily exchanges of procurement, import, quality, and accounting teams, as well as the sourcing offices in direct contact with suppliers and freight forwarders.
"The collaborative dimension of the platform, as well as its high flexibility allowing us to consider the specificities of our brands and different business areas, really convinced us. A solution capable of supporting us in operational efficiency challenges is a real asset to improve the management of our supply chain and streamline our sourcing strategy," says Jean-Michel Fabre, Director of Operations at Gémo, one of the 9 brands of the Eram Group.
The implementation of Winddle is part of a comprehensive IT overhaul project, including the implementation of a new ERP (S/4 Hana by SAP) and a PLM (Centric Software) for Gémo. Winddle will be connected to these software systems to ensure data synchronization and seamless end-to-end management of product flows.
"Retail brands expect a flexible and easy-to-implement tool. We quickly focused on finding an expert solution that is a reference in the retail world, which we found with Winddle. The support from the Winddle team and the functional solution will bring us benefits quickly," mentions Samuel Angebault, IT Program Director at the Eram Group.
The Group plans to deploy the solution in the coming months for end-to-end flow monitoring, from order validation to warehouse delivery, with direct integration into the IT systems and supply partners of the brands.
"We are delighted about this collaboration with the Eram Group. The project is ambitious and will significantly improve the daily productivity of the brands and their partners, as well as optimize operational decision-making and the management of timing, quantity, cost, and quality contingencies. The Winddle platform has been designed to bring a cross-functional and collaborative dimension to product flow monitoring. Connected to the brands' ERP, PLM, and WMS systems for the Eram Group, the solution is at the heart of its mission to eliminate the black box effect in the supply chain and effectively support the Eram Group in current and future challenges," concludes Emilia Jevakhoff, CEO of Winddle.
